  • Who is involved in the International Development Conference?

The International Development Conference at Harvard is a yearly student-organized, student-run conference dedicated to fostering a constructive dialogue between leading academics, practitioners, policy makers and students concerned with creating a better world. The Conference is hosted at the Kennedy School and is a joint effort between students at Harvard, MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.

Who can register for the conference?

Since the theme for the conference, “7 Billion – Development in a New World” is so diverse, we have taken special care to design panels, workshops, and have arranged speakers that will meet the interests of all participants. The conference is geared for anyone with an interest in International Development. Participants usually include Havard students, Non-Harvard and international students, and development practitioners from all over the world.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

Typically, conference tickets sell out well in advance of the conference date. The ticket registration also allows you to convey your interest in attending a particular panel, workshop or the networking lunch. We highly recommend that you purchase your ticket early to ensure your participation. To register yourself, click here
