Women for Women International’s Andrée Simon on Growth and Security

Andrée Simon, President and Chief Operating Officer of Women for Women International will discuss the role of women in promoting growth and security in the developing world.  She will participate in the panel: “Women Partners in Growth and Security.”

Ms. Simon joined Women for Women after 8 years at FINCA International, a network of 21 affiliates serving 700,000 clients across four continents. As Deputy Director of FINCA, Ms. Simon provided strategic guidance to FINCA’s network affiliates and management team and managed the institutional strategy agenda, with direct oversight over Planning, Strategy, Policy & Technical Assistance, and Research

She holds an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. She speaks French, Spanish and Japanese.
